The instrument cost 78,500 Finnish marks when new. Frontalini was imported by the owners of the Kouvola accordion factory through their own limited partnership named Harmonikkamyynti, kommandiittiyhtiö K. Koski & Kumpp. The company operated from January 2, 1957, to August 1, 1983, although its activities were concentrated in the 1950s and 1960s. Its removal from the trade register was due to a change in law, and the company was no longer active at that time.
Other Frontalini models included Piccolino and Grande.
