Vladimir Avralev founded the Voronezh Musical Instruments Factory AKKO in 1991 in Voronezh, Russia. In 2019, the company was the largest manufacturer of large reed plates and reeds for bayan accordions in the country, as well as the largest producer of Russian bayan accordions. The company produces more than 60 different accordion models. Accordion keyboard sizes, number of rows, handle angles, and other technical details are identical whether it’s a small children’s instrument or an adult concert instrument. In this way, switching from one accordion to another is easy for the player. Materials for accordions are bought from Sweden, Germany, Italy, and Russia.
The factory is focused on manufacturing accordions according to the customer’s needs. The customer can choose the accordion’s color, the number of registers, keyboard’s sound range, and so on.
The factory supports cultural activities in Russia by supporting various competitions, festivals, and publications.
