Sarvimalli

The accordion is a rare collector’s item: the instrument is made partly in Vyborg and finished after an evacuation trip to Lahti. Secondly, the instrument has a so-called tango switch, which is a rarity in the instruments of that time. On the bass side there is a switch that changes registers between three and six sets of reeds. On the back of the instrument, it says “ITAL. KIEL” [Italian reeds] on the top of the treble.

There are three clear numberings on the body: a pencil-written number 17 inside of the treble mechanism, number 33 stamped to the bass side, and the number 36 on the treble, also stamped.
