The first owner of the accordion was the composer and player Harry Syvertsen.
Oy Harmonikka exported accordions to Norway in the 1930s. The model name was Brillante-Special and the importer was Hornaas Musik in Oslo. The same store also imported German and Italian instruments under the name Brillante, but apparently Oy Harmonika’s products were the only ones that used the name Brillante-Special. Instruments with this brand name were exported to Norway in the late 1930s. The instrument in the picture is a rare flower model in Finland, so it is probably made mainly for export.
An accordion manufacturer named Henschien has been in Norway.
