A five row accordion

Inside the accordion is written in clear calligraphy (in Finnish): “Owned by Uuna Tolvanen Varkaus / Taulumäki. Purchased from 14/10 Kukkola in Vyborg” In addition to this marking, the instrument has a round factory stamp with the text: “PREMIATA SOC. AN. COOP. L’ARMONICA” The serial number of the instrument is 397. Worth noting is the treble key system, which is probably the so-called norwegian key system.

Models with a peacock in a grill are called peacock models. This pattern did not enter the grills until after the lyre patterns, although the age division based on the grill pattern alone is to draw a line in the water. Flat and stair handled instruments were produced simultaneously.

The accordion has been imported to Finland by Soitin Oy.
