Yrjö Elomaa and his brother Sameli Elomaa made accordions together from 1921 to 1930. Since 1927, the accordions where signed only Sameli’s name, not Yrjö’s Around this time, the brothers got into a fight, and Yrjö moved in Kurikka next to the railway track. It may be that Yrjö made the instrument in the picture while he was still making accordions with Sameli, or after that. Yrjö moved to Helsinki in 1933.
