The accordion in the picture is made by Leo Hill (at birth name Vesteri Länsimäki) in New York. The instrument is currently on a display in a showcase in the Karijoki library. Länsimäki was from Karijoki. Leo Hill repaired accordions in New York and made several instruments, as well. He was also a very good five row accordion player and a violinist. Leo Hill recorded in New York in 1930. Vesteri Länsimäki changed its name to Leo Hill in the late 1920s.
