In the 1950s and 1960s, Oy Harmonikka imported accordions from Italy to Finland. Import accordions where smaller than factory’s own models. At that time, the imported instruments were from either the Frontalini or G. Vignoni factories. Filomele accordions became Oy Harmonika’s import instrument between 1982 and 1985. The Filomele models were divided into four so-called youth models. From the smallest to the largest model, the names of the Filomele models are: Bambina, Cavatina, Cromatina and Consertina.
